The waters of Biscayne Bay are much protected and our boat usually sails smoothly throughout. CHILDREN ABOARD

SAILING WITH KIDS
Spending some hours in a sailing trip with your kids can be one of the most memorable ways to share time as a family, but sailing with children always requires an additional planning in advance:
Take this opportunity to build lifetime memories with your kid, go through the experience together and emphasize highlights of the trip. Remember that unattended kids can get bored and uninterested very easy.
Explain to your kid that boats are fun but there are certain rules that need to be follow, kids may need to wear life jacket when going to the upper deck and cannot go to the chairs at the bow by themselves. Keeping younger child in your arms or lap when cruising assures that they will not fall or injure themselves on any part of the boat.
Make sure you stock up on the essentials depending on the age, from diapers & pacifiers to sunscreen including their preferred snacks and juices.
The couple of links below are for articles describing best practices for sailing with kids and expending a wonderful time as a family to remember for years to come.
